Complete your print with one of our gorgeous frames

Get it framed! All through December 20% off on all frames with your fine art print purchase.

Our frames are carefully selected and stand out in material quality as wel as design. They’re made of an aluminium profile which guarantees a lightweight yet sturdy base. We offer them in 17 different styles including metallics and woods and even some bright colors. We use acrylic glass which is better, brighter and lighter than ordinary glass and less likely to damage during transportation.

The width of the standard frame is 5 mm (~ 0.2 inch) and the depth is 22 mm (~ 0.9 inch). All frames are also available in a luxury version which come with thicker glass and an additional insert to elevate the artwork, adding an extra dimension to it’s display. The width of a luxury frame is 8 mm (~ 0.3 inch) and the depth is 35 mm (~ 1.4 inch).

All frames are custom made to fit the art print by our professional framer and come with a ready-to-hang suspension system.

Note: Framing an artwork takes a bit of time and requires a special shipping method which may affect process and shipping time (but it is definitely worth your while).

Inspiration
Once, after signing a long-term deal with Warner Bros., Humphrey Bogart had predicted with glee that his teeth and hair would fall out before the contract ended. By the mid-1950s, his health was failing. Bogart was a heavy smoker and drinker and had developed cancer of the esophagus. He almost never spoke of his failing health and refused to see a doctor until January 1956. Bogart died in 1957 at the age of 57.

Work method
After the conceptual and sketching phase Phynta creates a rendered black and white image in photoshop using a digital brush and Wacom pen. Then he imports the image into his anaglyph-maker program, and he starts transforming the image into a 3D image based on what he believe makes sense. A tedious process of carefully selection bit by bit of the image and have it either come forward or backward. The final step is printing the final image as a reference and painting the image on canvas. He often needs to look through 3D glasses, viewing through one eye, then the other, or both. If he doesn't mix his colors right and doesn't have his shapes and dimensions correct the 3D effect fails.

about the artist

Meet Phynta

Phynta

Phynta is fascinated by the dualistic aspects of life; the fact that much, if not everything in life, is not what is seems. By looking at things from a different perspective one can change the meaning and value not only of what is looked at but also of one’s own identity.

‘Phynta masters the classical craft of painting and has merged it with the contemporary hype of 3D imagery of Hollywood.’
